CELEBRATION OF THE MARITIME AND ARCHIPELAGIC NATION AWARENESS MONTH (MANA MO).

By virtue of Proclamation No. 316, the month of September every year has been declared as Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo) to raise awareness and consciousness of maritime and archipelagic issues and concerns.

This year’s theme “Iisang Bangka Tayo: Philippine Unity During Uncertain Times”, calls for a Bayanihan response in the ongoing fight against the pandemic.

The Philippine Embassy in Dili invites everyone to celebrate MANA Mo in remembrance of our maritime heritage and in recognition of the importance of awareness of our maritime interests, as well as the need to address maritime concerns in a peaceful manner, taking into consideration sovereign rights and welfare of the Filipino people.
