We, at the Embassy wishes to invite our fellow Filipinos on 10 June 2017, Saturday, to join the flag-raising ceremony to commemorate the 119th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence. The event will promptly start at 7 o’clock in the morning.

The ceremony will be held at the Philippine Embassy grounds located at Rua Governor Serpa Rosa, Barrio Farol, Dili. A Filipino breakfast will be served following the flag-raising ceremony.

The Embassy needs your attendance confirmation to be able to determine the number of participants so that necessary arrangements could be made for the breakfast.

As an ultimate expression of our love for our country, we request you to be in proper attire (e.g. no slippers, walking shorts, short shorts, sandos, transparent clothes, pants/shorts that have low waistline, and shirts/blouses that show the navel) during the ceremony.
