Several officials from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Headquarters in Metro Manila, Philippines paid a courtesy visit to the Philippine Embassy in Dili earlier today during their working visit to Timor-Leste.

Regional Lead Economist James Villafuerte and Principal Regional Cooperation Specialist Kanya Sasradipoera were accompanied by ADB Timor-Leste Country Director Stefania Dina and Senior Project Officer Pedro Aquino when they met with First Secretary and Consul Dean Jason N. Arriola.

During the courtesy visit, the ADB officials gave a briefing on the institution’s current work in capacity building assistance for Timorese officials, particularly in relation to national efforts toward full ASEAN membership. END
