  1. AFFIDAVITS

REQUIREMENTS

  • Drafted copy of your affidavit
  • Please have your documents (SPA, affidavits, etc.) notarized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation in Timor Leste and duly attested by the Ministry of Justice for Authentication at the Embassy.
  • Fee – $ 25.00

Processing period: 2 working days

Additional payment for expedited release:

+ $ 30.00 for same-day release (4:00 P.M.)

+ $ 20.00 for next day release (4:00 P.M.)

Personal appearance is encouraged. If not available, you may send an authorized representative to transact and pick up your authenticated documents on your behalf. Your representative may bring an authorization letter and photocopy of his/her ID.

B. AFFIDAVIT OF INVITATION AND SUPPORT (FOR PURPOSES OF PRESENTATION TO BUREAU OF IMMIGRATION IN THE PHILIPPINES)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Personal appearance
  • Copy of passport
  • Copy of Employment Contract of person inviting
  • Copy of passport of person invited
  • Copy of airline ticket of person invited

C. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

   1. SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

REQUIREMENTS                                                                            

  • Personal appearance of the principal signatory/ies
  • Copy of passport
  • Fee  - $ 25.00

       Reminder: Special Power of Attorney must be signed by two witnesses.

    2. EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT

REQUIREMENTS

  • Personal appearance of the principal signatory/ies (either the Filipino employee or one of the employer who signed the work contract)
  • Copy of passport and valid Timor-Leste work visa of the Filipino employee
  • Copies of passport and valid Timor-Leste work visa of the employer if non-Timorese. If the signatory is a Timorese citizen, a copy of his/her National ID Card is sufficient
  • Original Employment contract
  • Original and photocopy of the Timor-Leste public document/s duly attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Timor-Leste. (For Portuguese and Tetun documents, the English translation of the document is required)

Important Reminders:

For Employment Contract to be submitted to POEA: The contract should be approved by the State Secretariat for Vocational Training and Professional Employment (SEPFOPE) and subsequently attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.

D. AUTHENTICATION OF DOCUMENTS FOR USE IN PHILIPPINES

REQUIREMENTS

  • Copy of passport
  • Original and one copy of the document(s) to be authenticated (bearing the seal, signature and name of Timorese Notary Public, MOJ, MNEC or relevant Embassy or Consulate)
  • Fee – $ 25.00

NEW PASSPORTS READY FOR RELEASE AT THE EMBASSY

AS OF 21 NOVEMBER 2023

  • Passports corresponding with the official receipt numbers listed on this page are ready to be claimed. PLEASE CLAIM YOUR PASSPORTS FROM 9:00 AM - 04:00 PM, MONDAY TO FRIDAY. There is no need to schedule an appointment for claiming passports.
  • For fast navigation, press the [Ctrl] and [F] buttons on keyboard at the same time and the “Navigation” box will appear on the screen.
  • Key in your official receipt (OR) number into the navigation box and press [ENTER] or “SEARCH” for the result.
  • If your official receipt number is listed on this page, then you may proceed to the Embassy with your OLD PASSPORT AND OFFICIAL RECEIPT to claim your new e-passport.

REMINDERS:

  • Pursuant to Department Order No. 37-03, all passports unclaimed by the applicants after six (6) months from the date of issuance shall be cancelled.
  • This page is immediately and regularly updated every time a delivery of passports is made from DFA-Manila.

Requirements for Philippine Passport Application

For Adult Applicants
(18 Years old and above)

For Minor Applicants
(below 18 years old)

PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS:

1. Online appointment

  • All passport applicants, including infants, must have an online appointment. 
  • Download the forms and other documents from the appointment system. Print them out and bring them to the Embassy for your passport application.
  • You will receive a confirmation email from the appointment software. If you did not receive this email, you may have used a wrong email address. You may request for this confirmation email to be forwarded to the correct email address by sending your request to This email address is being protected from spambots.   • To change the schedule of your appointment, you may use the reschedule button embedded in the confirmation email. If you cannot reschedule your appointment, it means that all the slots for your target dates are filled up. 2. For First Time Applicants (Minors born in Timor-Leste)

  • Personal appearance of the minor applicant
  • Application form duly accomplished by the parent/s
  • Report of Birth issued by the Embassy
  • For parents who are married: Marriage Contract in Security Paper issued by the  Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) of the Philippines
  • For parents who are not married and the child will adopt the surname of the father: Affidavit of Acknowledgment of Paternity and Consent to Use the Surname of the Father notarized by the Philippine Embassy. Fee: $ 25.00
  • Photocopies of the parents' passport (data page only)
  • Personal appearance of either parent (if minor is of legitimate status) or mother (if minor is of illegitimate status). The biometrics of the passport applicant must be captured live. This is required even for infants.
  • Fee - $ 60.00

3. For Renewal of Passport

  • For old passports that do not show the exact town/city of birth (e.g. only the province of Pampanga is written), any copy of Philippine Government-issued document, such as birth certificate or previously issued passport, that indicates the complete place of birth (e.g. Lubao, Pampanga)
  • Latest Philippine passport and photocopies of the data page and last page showing the signature of the passport holder
  • Personal appearance of applicant.  The biometrics of the passport applicant must be captured live. 
  • Fee -  $ 60.00

4. Additional Requirements for Passport Renewal:

For women who would like to use their married name:

  • If marriage was held in Timor-Leste, Report of Marriage issued by the Embassy
  • If marriage was held in the Philippines, Marriage Contract in Security Paper issued by PSA

For minor applicants:

  • Original and photocopies of parents' passport (data page only)
  • Personal appearance of either parent (if minor is of legitimate status) or mother (if minor is of illegitimate status)

5. For Replacement of Lost Passport

For Lost Valid Passport:

  • Other identification cards and proof of identity
  • Photocopy of lost passport (if available)
  • Marriage Certificate from PSA (for married women)
  • Transcription copy of Birth Certificate issued by the Local Civil Registrar (only if entries of the PSA copy are blurred or unreadable)
  • Birth Certificate in Security Paper issued by the PSA
  • Police Report, with English translation, duly consularized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Timor-Leste
  • Affidavit of Loss to be notarized by the Philippine Embassy. Fee: $ 25.00
  • Passport application form fully and legibly completed by the applicant
  • Personal appearance of applicant
  • Fee - $ 150.00

Note:Processing of application for lost valid passport is subject to a 15-day clearing period

For Lost Expired Passport:

  • Other identification cards and proof of identity
  • Photocopy of lost passport (if available)
  • Marriage Certificate from PSA (for married women)
  • Transcription copy of Birth Certificate issued by the Local Civil Registrar (only if entries of the PSA copy are blurred or unreadable)
  • Birth Certificate in Security Paper issued by the PSA
  • Affidavit of Loss to be notarized by the Philippine Embassy. Fee: $ 25.00
  • Passport application form fully and legibly completed by the applicant
  • Personal appearance of applicant
  • Fee - $ 90.00  (if lost passport is either manual or machine readable)
